Ethan Couch, the “affluenza” teen appeared in adult court today for the first time. His case has been moved out of the juvenile system.
On Wednesday, Criminal Court District Judge Wayne Salvant gave him terms of his probation that includes staying away from drugs and alcohol. Ethan Couch must remain in jail for almost two years.
He was given 180 days consecutively for each death he caused in a drunk driving accident. It was the maximum amount of time the judge could give.
