Now this is pretty awesome news. Alan Jackson just bought a building on Lower Broadway in Nashville. He’s set to open his own bar, AJ’s Good Time Bar. It will be a bar with 3-levels for fun for all with a roof top patio.
He told the Tennessean, “I always wanted to own a honky-tonk that plays real country music on Broadway that I could put my name on,” and so now we will have it. Alan Jackson is also a partner in another bar on Lower Broadway, Acme Feed & Seed, a bar/restaurant and venue. I was just at Acme earlier this month and let me tell you, they had some of the best music there!
But Alan isn’t the only one opening a bar on Lower Broadway. John Rich announced earlier this year that Redneck Riviera will open a location on Lower Broadway and Dierks Bentley also plans to open Whiskey Row which he already has in Arizona. You know you’ll still be stopping by Tootsie’s and Roberts and Legends and…. just live it up! Nashville, can’t wait to see ya again! I leave you with an oldie but goodie that has inspired the new name of Alan Jackson’s new bar.
