Lucky Whitehead is speaking out after the Cowboys released him Monday when reports came that a warrant for his arrest had been issued in a crime allegedly involving him occurred in his home state of Virginia. Police dropped charges after they conducted an investigation that cleared him. He was telling the Cowboys the truth. Lucky told Cowboys management and went out publicly – saying it was not him that had committed the crime.
In an interview to Sports Day, Lucky says he was “pretty much called a liar” and was not given the opportunity to clear up his name. He knew about the warrant at 12:45pm and by 2:30pm he was released. Check out the rest of the interview here: SportsDay.com
