BREAKING NEWS: Dallas Cowboys’ Ezekiel Elliott suspended for 6 games

The NFL has suspended Dallas Cowboys star running back Ezekiel Elliott for 6 games for a violation of the NFL’s personal conduct policy. Suspension is based on July 2016 allegations according to sources. Zeke and the Cowboys are expected to appeal this suspension. They have 3 business days to file notice of appeal and a hearing must be scheduled within 10 days of receipt of notice of appeal.‬

If the suspension holds, he would miss games against Giants, Broncos, Cardinals, Rams, Packers, and 49ers.

According to ESPN, NFL officials investigated thoroughly and extensively. They examined text messages and retained medical and legal experts to help Commissioner Roger Goodell make his decision.
