We’re at the peak of hurricane season and if we look at the Atlantic, we can see that holds truth as hurricanes develop and gain strength. The main threat to the US is Hurricane Florence which has gained strength as it moves across the Atlantic. The National Hurricane Center has now upgraded Florence to a Category 4 hurricane as of 11:45am – Monday, September 10th. It will likely reach Category 5 status as it nears the Carolina coast.
