It isn’t officially Fall until the State Fair of Texas has kicked off. But before you make you way out to the fair, there are different ways you can save on admission. Opening day is Military Appreciation Day where all active military, retired military and veterans receive FREE admission when they present valid documentation of military service at the gate. Spouses of service men and women with a valid Military Spouse ID, as well as accompanying children under the age of 18, also receive FREE admission.

But that is not the only way to save on opening day. Opening day is also Dasani Half-off Opening Day. Bring a full 20 ounce bottle of Dasani Water or any 20 ounce Coca-Cola product for donation to the North Texas Food Bank and get in for only $9 on opening day.
