Deputy Jeff Dishmon has touched our hearts. The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office in California published a video to Facebook on Wednesday, Nov 14th – that has since gone viral. Deputy Dishmon is color blind and was able to see the world in color for the first time. The post read:
Today Correctional Deputy and Sheriff’s SWAP Farm Manager Jeff Dishmon saw color for the first time. Correctional Deputy Samantha Freese and Dishmon have worked together for eight years at the Humboldt County Correctional Facility. Over the years the two have grown close, nicknaming each other ‘Grandpa’ and ‘Granddaughter.’
Deputy Freese along with other co-workers all pitched in to purchase these EnChroma glasses for him. Check out his reaction.
