Arlington’s own, Maren Morris. She told Rolling Stone Country that she was glad she was rejected from those shows when she auditioned and she’s happier for it now. Ironically, her hit song, “My Church” has been sung by contestants participating in both American Idol and The Voice the past year. Her debut album, “Hero” which went to number one was released June 3rd.
