With heart disease is the No. 1 killer of Texans, with 4 out of 5 cardiac arrests occurring at home, this is a something great for the whole family to learn how to do, if you don’t know how to do CPR already.
Texas Two Step is a free 5-minute training session in hands-only CPR designed to teach participants how to potentially save a life:
Step #1: Call 911.
Step #2: Begin hands-only CPR by pushing hard and fast on the center of the chest.
There will actually be a few events around North Texas that you can attend on Feb 12th. Dr. Oz will also be at some of these training sessions. More details here: www.tx2step.com
Training teams representing all 11 Texas medical schools will conduct this statewide hands-only CPR training to raise public awareness of hands-only CPR and train as many people as possible to save lives.
