This week our friends at Billy Bob’s Texas announced their new purse/bag policy that will take effect June 15th. Leave the big purses at home. What is allowed is a small clutch (5.5 inches by 8.5 inches). You can carry your items in a clear ziplock, no larger than one gallon which Billy Bob’s will also have on site. If you do bring a purse, you can check it in but not retrieve your items till you check it out to go home. Similar to the AT&T Stadium policy, you can carry your items in a clear bag that Billy Bob’s expects to sell for no more than $15.
In a statement, they said that “In an effort to enhance public safety, Billy Bob’s Texas has updated its security policy by limiting the size and style of bags allowed in the venue for all concerts, events, and evenings. All bags and purses will be subject to search and inspection.”
