Three winners will be crowned in the 2017 Big Tex Choice Awards ceremony, receiving awards for “Best Taste – Sweet,” “Best Taste – Savory,” and “Most Creative.”
I was honored to have been able to MC last year’s Big Tex Choice Awards last year, with Fried Jello as the winner for Best Taste, lets see who wins BIG this year! One that stands out, “Deep Fried Chicken Noodle Soup on a Stick” or how about “Deep Fried Fruit Loops” or “Oreo Beer”. Check out the rest below.
The top 10 entries will compete in the final round. Concessionaires can still choose to introduce their food at their stand as a “new food” during this year’s State Fair if it doesn’t make the top 10. Winners will be announced Sunday, August 27 at 2 p.m. in the historic Tower Building at Fair Park. Tickets will be available online at BigTex.com for $100, with a limited amount of seats available. All proceeds from the Big Tex Choice Awards ceremony will be donated to the State Fair of Texas Youth Scholarship Program.
