George Strait has announced he will be playing in San Antonio at The Majestic Theatre next Tuesday, September 12th to benefit Harvey victims. His performance will be broadcasted across all major networks. This is part of the already announced telethon hosted by several major stars, including Blake Shelton. Hand in Hand: A Benefit for Hurricane Harvey Relief will air live September 12th at 7pm on ABC, CBS, CMT, Fox and NBC. It will also stream live on Facebook, YouTube and Twitter.

Ticket info on the San Antonio concert has yet to be released. George Strait is expected to be joined by other country artists. He’s listed as the finale performance on the telethon’s website

The fundraiser will be based in Los Angeles at the Universal Studios lot, with host stages in New York’s Times Square and Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry, as well as feature a special performance from George Strait in San Antonio that night.

George Clooney, Beyonce, Oprah Winfrey, Matthew McConaughey, Dennis Quaid, Julia Roberts, Barbra Streisand and Reese Witherspoon are among the stars set to appear and many others are still being added. Proceeds will benefit various charities including the United Way of Greater Houston, Habitat for Humanity, Save the Children, Direct Relief, Feeding Texas and the Mayor’s Fund for Hurricane Harvey Relief.
