Early Voting Underway – What You Need, Where To Go

Early voting for the midterm elections had kicked off. The most important thing you need is yourself and an ID to vote! Early voting started Monday, October 22nd and will continue through Friday, November 2nd. November 6th is Election Day and the last day you can vote. Where to vote and what you need can all be found here, VoteTexas.gov

Below are the forms of ID that are acceptable at the polling booth.

List of the acceptable forms of photo ID at the polling place:

  • Texas Driver License issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS)
  • Texas Election Identification Certificate issued by DPS
  • Texas Personal Identification Card issued by DPS
  • Texas Handgun License issued by DPS
  • United States Military Identification Card containing the person’s photograph
  • United States Citizenship Certificate containing the person’s photograph
  • United States Passport (book or card)
