When Delta Airlines flight attendant Pierce Vaughan had to work for the Christmas holiday, her father, Hal Vaughan, went to great lengths to make sure she didn’t have to spend it alone.

To make sure they could spend the holiday together, Hal actually booked a seat on each of Pierce’s Christmas Eve and Christmas Day flights and flew around the country with her.

The story went viral after a fellow passenger on one of the flights shared the story on Facebook and brought attention to “what a fantastic father” Hal is.

Pierce later took to her Facebook to say, “Dad’s first trip using his benefits was a success! A special thanks to all of the patient, wonderful gate agents around the country and my perfect crew.”
